Quotes of the Day for 13 July 2012 – Luck
I do believe in luck, but I'm not superstitious. I'm occasionally cautious: I don't walk under ladders as a general rule, but that's from an understanding of ladders and gravity rather than doubt about my luck. But when it comes to choosing themes for the quotes, I never have enough easy ones. When Friday the 13th rolls around I roll out the luck quotes, if I'm paying enough attention. Alas, I missed it last year, which only had one, and though 2012 has three occurrences, I nearly missed them all (January, April, and today). I'm not sure, but somehow I think it must be unlucky to go too long without quotes on Luck.
