Was it just me, or is it a little disconcerting to be getting back to normal work schedules today after two weeks broken up by holidays and the delightful diversions of the season? I always dread the arrival of Christmas, then when the good food and party atmosphere starts I can't help being swept away. Now I'm looking forward to six weeks without a holiday to get in the way of getting enough work done to pay for it all.
