Quotes of the Day for 3 October 2004 – Physicians

Johns Hopkins University opened on this day in 1876, the first school in the US to train physicians. In many ways it became the model for modern medical training worldwide. We seem to have mixed feelings about our doctors, and the quotes in my collection reflect this.
