Quotes of the Day for 10 July 2004 – Music

I'll spend most of today with music in my ears. I'll get up, flip in a CD, and read the morning mail for a couple of hours. (I get a lot of e-mail.) In the afternoon, I'll be off to Choochokam. As I wander around and look at the neat stuff in all the booths, there will be various performers playing and singing. And at the end of the afternoon, the crowd will gravitate toward the main stage for the street dance. We'll all be awash in loud, powerful, bluesy tones, and everyone from age five to eighty will be moving to the beat. (Even I gyrate a bit, but mostly I take pictures.) So today's theme is Music.
