Quotes of the Day for 14 June 2004 – Attention

I suffer from what is called Attention Deficit Disorder. The name is somewhat misleading, because what those of us with ADD actually have is amazingly rapid and versatile attention - we see one thing after another that seizes our attention and sometimes find that a busy day has gone by with not a single thing actually completed because of it. Now imagine a house with most everything still in boxes, walls needing paint, light bulbs needing to be replaced, and a long list of business that needs to be dealt with. I feel like I'm spinning loose in space, and I'm assured that it isn't fun to watch. It certainly isn't predictable, although it was probably inevitable that I would finally check the database for quotes on Attention.
