Quotes of the Day for 20 April 2004 – Language

- Benjamin Lee Whorf, 1897 - 1941

- Carl Sandburg, 1878 - 1967

- Ellen Gilcrist
The quality of our thoughts is bordered on all sides by our facility with language.
- J. Michael Straczynski

- Thomas Ernest Hulme, 1883 - 1917

- Jane Wagner
