Quotes of the Day for 14 February 2004 – Chocolate

Twenty years ago today I received a Valentine from my ex-wife. The front said, "I know you don't believe in Valentine's cards." In side it said, "But look, here's one in your hand!" I'm not sure I've sent a Valentine's card since grade school. And though I'm quite capable of getting all mushy, I think there's too much of that going around on this occasion already. So let's focus on what's really important on Saint Valentine's Day: Chocolate.

     - Miranda Ingram

     - Spanish proverb
