Quotes of the Day for 6 February 2004 – Zsa Zsa

Not all that glitters is gold, there are also diamonds. On this day in 1919, Sari Gabor was born at Budapest, Hungary. She claims to have been Miss Hungary in 1936, but she isn't the only one. She adopted the name "Zsa Zsa" and came to the US in 1941 to collect jewelry, husbands (eight, only one lasted over five years), and all the headlines she could get. Although she did act in several movies, as far as anyone can tell she got rich and famous by being rich and famous. She dropped a few choice quotes along the way.

A man in love is incomplete until he is married. Then he is finished.

Husbands are like fires - they go out when unattended.

I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house.

I want a man who's kind and understanding. Is that too much to ask of a millionaire?

To a smart girl men are no problem - they're the answer.
