Quotes of the Day for 22 July 2003 – Retreat
I never quite understood the phrase, "going on retreat." It sounds a little more purposeful than a vacation, a little more meaningful than just needing a break. But I need a break, and can't afford a vacation, so I'm off to the mountains to do a little art. This year I'll be trying my hand at cloisonne. It's not only completely different from what I do day to day, it's also completely different from anything I've done on retreat before. Expect quotes to resume next Tuesday. If you can't bear to be without, remember that you can always search the database on the website. In fact, I recently updated the collection on the web for your browsing pleasure.
