Quotes of the Day for 23 January 2003 – Handwriting

Today is National Handwriting Day, as if I cared! My handwriting is so bad I can't read it more than a couple of days later. I took typing during summer school when I was in junior high school - voluntarily. When I need to leave a short message for my wife I send it by e-mail. So I won't be celebrating this holiday with the rest of you, I've withdrawn as much as possible from the interface of pen, hand, and paper. But here are some quotes for everybody else.

     - Miguel de Cervantes

The pen is mightier than the sword.
     - Edward George Earle Bulwer-Lytton, 1803 - 1873
