A long-time reader wrote late last week: "Our beloved Amadeus, a miniature Schnauzer, died this week at the age of 15. He was easy to love, being a gentleman of noble, sweet, sensible nature. He had a wide circle of friends." I've known some dogs like that. Here's to Amadeus and his friends.
