Quotes of the Day for 21 June 2002 – Solstice

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, today is the longest day of the year, the most minutes of sunlight we'll see. For those of you in the southern hemisphere, take heart: Every day will be longer from here until December.

Next week there will be no quotes, I'll be at the Grünewald Guild, playing with clay and fire.

The quotes:

     - Ralph Waldo Emerson

     - Carl Jung

Everyone has his day and some days last longer than others.
     - Winston Churchill

A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken.
     - James Dent
