One of the problems in visiting the doctor is the stop at the scale, where I recently was somewhat embarrassed at the number displayed. This gradually changed to concern after a couple of days. I suppose I need to change the way I cook, the amount I serve up on my plate, and, after three decades of sloth and indolence, get some Exercise.
