Quotes of the Day for 12 June 2002 – Two Kinds

I see a lot of sites out there that were started with the best of intentions and a good plan, but that have clearly been abandoned. In some cases the original webmaster has left the business or gotten a better job. Maybe what the site needs is just a little care - nothing fancy, nothing expensive. I offer basic hosting and ongoing maintenance at a reasonable hourly rate, and would love to help your site keep up to date.

The quotes:

People can be divided into two classes: those who go ahead and do something, and those who sit still and inquire, 'Why wasn't it done the other way?'
     - Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr, 1809 - 1894

There are two kinds of people in the world - those who walk into a room and say, 'There you are!' - and those who say, 'Here I am!'
     - Abigail Van Buren

There are two kinds of people in the world; those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'Go ahead, then, have it your way.'
     - Clive Staples Lewis, 1898 - 1963

There are two kinds of people in the world: the Givers and the Takers. The difference between the two is that the Takers eat well, and the Givers sleep well at night.
     - Joy Mills

The two kinds of people on earth I mean,
Are the people who lift and the people who lean.
     - Ella Wheeler Wilcox, 1850 - 1919
