Quotes of the Day for 5 March 2002 – Women's History Month

Just as February is set aside as Black History Month, March is designated as Women's History Month, a time to honor the contributions of women to society and history. Since Van's collection of quotes tends to lean rather heavily to male contributors, I pulled together a collection of quotes from some very remarkable women in a wide range of endeavors. We'll run half now and half later in the month. And by the way, don't forget to offer encouraging words to the remarkable women in your life.
