Quotes of the Day for 12 September 2001 – Prayer

My reactions to yesterday morning's atrocities at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon are numerous, as the story dominates our attention and continues to develop it is likely to suggest my choices of quotes through the week. But for now I'm going to take the advice of a reader who suggested that Prayer is the proper response - and for most of us it should be our first response.
