Quotes of the Day for 13 June 2001 – What Next?

As the school year at various levels and in divers locations draws to a close (my daughter Amelia graduates from Evergreen State College at Olympia, Washington on Friday) it is good to wonder "What next?" Traditionally, the observation of the end of a course of education has been called Commencement, these quotes highlight the reality that education doesn't end at graduation, the event marks a beginning.
