Quotes of the Day for 26 March 2001 – Law

In last night's Academy Awards extravaganza Julia Roberts won the Oscar for her role in "Erin Brockovich." In the film, which I highly recommend if you haven't seen it, Erin Brockovich is an untrained legal assistant with plenty of attitude that uses the Law to take on a mighty utility on behalf of a community of victims, a community that started with little faith in the legal system. The voices coming down through history don't seem to have much faith in it either.
