Quotes of the Day for 21 January 2001 – Security
Random disasters, whether naturally occurring like earthquakes, volcanoes, or hurricanes or manmade like wars, drunk drivers, or vandalism make us mindful of how little Security we have on this mortal coil. - James F. Byrnes
It is the risk element which ensures security. Risk brings out the ingenuity and resourcefulness which ensure success.
- Robert Rawls
The search for static security - in the law and elsewhere - is misguided. The fact is security can only be achieved through constant change, adapting old ideas that have outlived their usefulness to current facts.
- William O. Douglas

- Grace Murray Hopper
