The tax-preparation firms are advertising on television, trumpeting the size and speed of the refunds they can secure for us. Accountants are gearing up to prepare and send out statements of income received, in the US they are W-2 and 1099 forms. With three months to the filing deadline I'll probably come back to this subject a couple of times.
