Quotes of the Day for 4 August 2000 – Ships

The quotes:

If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
     - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.
     - William Shedd

We may have all come on different ships, but we're in the same boat now.
     - Martin Luther King, Jr.

I have a feeling that when my ship comes in, I'll be at the airport.
     - Charles Monroe Schultz
