It was on this day in 1775 that Patrick Henry rose to address the Virginia House of Burgesses, including the memorable "Give me liberty or give me death!" I'm not sure I'm brave enough to go that far, but I hope I am if it ever comes down to it. And I'm never reluctant to use Liberty for the day's theme.
