Your Quotes for 8 March 2006 - Proverbs

A quotation is a passage of text that someone said, and I generally feel it makes no sense to save them unless I know what was said and who the someone was. Thus there are only a few quotes in the database attributed to "Anonymous" and they never appear in the daily mailings. On the other hand, some of these anonymous bits have managed to reach proverbial status and are identified by the culture from which they came. They're fun and they're short, so every few months I pull out a dozen to share.
