Some days it's easy to find a theme for Quotes of the Day, other days it takes a bit of digging. Then there are the times when I not only have to dig, but I have to stretch. This is one of those days. Two actresses were born on this day (Kathy Bates, 1948, Memphis and Mary Stuart Masterson, 1966, New York City) who shared the screen in the charming "Fried Green Tomatoes". Like I said, it's a stretch.
