Your Quotes for 15 June 2005 - Sleep

This week I'm developing a lot of film for a photography class at the Coupeville Arts Center. While I fully intend to soon have the equipment to do this "in my sleep" as it were, I'm not so equipped now and it's taking a lot of time. So much that the quotes are several hours late and all I can think of is sleep.

The best bridge between despair and hope is a good night's sleep.
     - E. Joseph Cossman

Blessed be he who invented sleep, a cloak that covers all a man's thoughts.
     - Miguel de Cervantes, 1547 - 1616

All men whilst they are awake are in one common world: but each of them, when he is asleep, is in a world of his own.
     - Plutarch, 46 - ca. 120

Finish each day before you begin the next, and interpose a solid wall of sleep between the two. This you cannot do without temperance.
     - Ralph Waldo Emerson, 1803 - 1882

When action grows unprofitable, gather information; when information grows unprofitable, sleep.
     - Ursula K. LeGuin

... We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
     - William Shakespeare, The Tempest
