Still, there is some truth to the reputation of grey and rainy days, and the weather has now turned. For better or worse, the grass will not dry out enough to mow again until May, glimpses of the sun will be few and far between.

Many a man curses the rain that falls upon his head, and knows not that it brings abundance to drive away hunger. Millions long for immortality who do not know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon. As against having beautiful workshops, studios, etc., one writes best in a cellar on a rainy day. Some people are making such thorough preparation for rainy days that they aren't enjoying today's sunshine.
