The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely, or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature, and God. Because only there does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. Man finds nothing so intolerable as to be in a state of complete rest, without passions, without occupation, without diversion, without effort. Then he feels his nullity, loneliness, inadequacy, dependence, helplessness, emptiness. Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself. What a lovely surprise to discover how un-lonely being alone can be. The eternal quest of the human being is to shatter his loneliness. If you are afraid of being lonely, don't try to be right.
