Quotes of the Day for 5 December 2003 - Forget

Yesterday morning I got up and couldn't remember what quotes I had sent out the night before. I soon found that I had forgotten to send any. Sometimes I'm stumped for a theme, sometimes I'm simply too busy with other things to include the pleasant challenge of assembling your daily quotes before I fall into bed. I don't think I've ever before simply forgotten.

     - Alan Alexander Milne, Winnie the Pooh

     - Benjamin Disraeli, 1804 - 1881

     - John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 1917 - 1963

Originality is the fine art of remembering what you hear but forgetting where you heard it.
     - Laurence Johnston Peter, 1919 - 1990

The trouble about man is twofold. He cannot learn truths which are too complicated; he forgets truths which are too simple.
     - Rebecca West, 1892 - 1983
