In four decades Cash recorded 1,500 songs, appeared on 500 albums, won 11 Grammys, hit number one on the country charts 14 times, and was the first artist inducted in both the Country and Rock and Roll Music Halls of Fame (Elvis is the only other). He was deeply religious, battled substance abuse, and found great strength in his marriage which ended four months ago with the death of his wife.
