Great ideas need landing gear as well as wings. An idea that is not dangerous is unworthy of being called an idea. The best way to have a good idea is to have a lot of ideas. The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to
hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and
still retain the ability to function. If it's a good idea, go ahead and do it. It is much easier
to apologize than it is to get permission. Daring ideas are like chessmen moved forward. They may be
beaten, but they may start a winning game. Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to
handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen.
