Quotes of the Day Mailing Archive
Quotes of the Day is, basically, a daily mailing of quotations, but it is convenient for some to access them from a web browser. Like when one of the quotes contains a naughty word and corporate e-mail systems decide you shouldn't read it!

As of March 2009, I'm starting over. It's still a little rough at the moment, and I've only entered about 450 issues here. (That leaves a staggering 2,000 to go, but it's about ten times faster than the old way so I think it's going to get done.) All the navigation isn't in place, so you almost have to stumble around for things. Because the issues shown above are already available, I'm filling in the database from both ends. The existing pages will remain until they are replaced by the new system.
I'll have better index pages in the next few days. Hooray! As of Monday (23 March), the monthly index pages are working, including previous and next month links! (As long as you don't go past either end of the total date range.) I'll be working on a full layout by year and month a bit later, for now I'll focus on getting more issues in here, I'm up to 654 as of this morning.
Tuesday evening (24 March) About two thirds done, and I've overlapped the old archive on both ends. Every issue ever mailed is now here. Haven't fixed the "out of range" problem yet. Moved the new archive to the top of the page, as it's now the much larger part.
Wednesday night (25 March) Several hundred more issues posted in the new format, only one year (2004) left to go. I might even get that done after I put out tomorrow's quotes, but I doubt it. I did get the menus fixed: When you get to the first or last page, either of the daily issues or the monthly indices, there isn't a link that takes you off into a black hole.
